WELLNESS COACH + HYPNOTHERAPY

FAQ
Wellness coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on helping you achieve your health and wellness goals through sustainable behavior change. As your coach, I work alongside you to explore your values, clarify what you want, set meaningful goals, and create personalized strategies to get you there. It's client-centered and holistic, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors that contribute to your overall wellbeing.
No. While both are valuable, they serve different purposes. Therapy typically focuses on healing past trauma, treating mental health conditions, and working through emotional or psychological issues. Wellness coaching is forward-focused—it's about where you want to go and how to get there. We work on behavior change, goal-setting, accountability, and personal growth. If you're dealing with clinical mental health concerns, therapy may be more appropriate, and I'm happy to help you find those resources.
Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you enter a deeply relaxed state where your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions and new patterns of thinking. It's not about losing control—you remain aware and in control throughout the session. Hypnotherapy can help overcome mental blocks, reduce stress and anxiety, manage pain, break unwanted habits, improve sleep, and reinforce healthy behaviors you're working to establish.
I operate on a fee-for-service basis, meaning payment is due at the time of service and I do not bill insurance directly. However, some clients are able to use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) for wellness coaching or hypnotherapy services. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask about coverage options or reimbursement possibilities.
All sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom. This allows for convenient scheduling and eliminates travel time, making it easier to fit wellness coaching into your life. I'll provide a Zoom link prior to each appointment.
Yes! Hypnotherapy is highly effective via Zoom. You'll be in a comfortable, familiar environment (your own space), which actually enhances relaxation. As long as you have a quiet, private place where you won't be interrupted and a stable internet connection, remote hypnotherapy works beautifully.
Everything we discuss in our coaching sessions is completely confidential. I take your privacy seriously and adhere to strict confidentiality standards. The only exceptions are situations where there's an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or if I'm legally required to report (such as suspected child or elder abuse). Otherwise, what you share stays between us.
